Manchester-born and English-educated, shaped by the dreich weather and drifting haar of the Fife coast, Scotland. Simon is a photographer and educator currently pointing his camera in the sun-baked landscapes of the Sultanate of Oman. His journey behind the lens began in 2002. Since then, he has chased light across more than 70 countries, from the back streets of Africa to the bazaars of the Middle East, and from the mountains of Asia to the far edges of the Americas. The passport is well-torn. The curiosity is not.
Simon’s work lives in the space between people and their environment - the unrehearsed and unscripted moments.
